Electrification Program

To qualify, you must: be a residential customer of BGE, Pepco, or Delmarva in MD; replace an existing fossil fuel heating system with electric heating as your primary source; remove the existing fossil fuel system or set as backup, with thermostat settings not exceeding 40°F; meet minimum efficiency standards (SEER2 and HSPF2 ratings). *Available on select, high-efficiency equipment. Rebate amount depends on utility provider and the type/efficiency of installed equipment. Cannot be combined with standard utility rebates. **Covers up to 75% of the total make-ready cost, up to $3,000. †Consult your tax advisor.
